Gigabyte brengt zijn nieuwe bios uit voor Intel Kaby Lake

Intel Kaby Lake desktop-processors zullen pas eind 2017 op de markt komen om te concurreren op de nieuwe AMD Summit Ridge op basis van de Zen-microarchitectuur. Desondanks haasten grote fabrikanten van moederborden voor het Intel-platform zoals Gigabyte zich over het vrijgeven van hun nieuwe BIOS om compatibiliteit met Kaby Lake-processors te garanderen.

Moederborden uit de Gigabyte 100-serie hebben alleen een BIOS-update nodig om naadloos te werken met de nieuwe 7e generatie Intel Core "Kaby Lake" -processors. Het nieuwe BIOS is al beschikbaar op de officiële Gigabyte-website, zodat alle gebruikers hun moederborden kunnen updaten, onthoud dat u dit moet doen voordat u een van de nieuwe Intel Kaby Lake-processors plaatst.
